    How it works

    Each nasal spray contains Xylometazoline hydrochloride 1 mg/mL.

  • What this medicine is used for

    Short-term relief of a blocked or runny nose caused by colds, flu, sinusitis, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis.

    Adults and children 12 years and over:

    1. 1 spray per nostril.
    2. Use 2-3 times daily, as necessary.
    3. Do not use more often than every 8-10 hours.
    4. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

    1. Each pack should be used by only one person for reasons of hygiene.
    2. Clear your nose.
    3. Remove protective cap.
    4. Before using for the first time, prime the pump by actuating 4 times. If the product has not been used for longer than 7 days, the pump will need to be reprimed with 4 actuations. Be very careful not to spray in the eyes or mouth.
    5. Hold bottle upright with thumb under base and nozzle between two fingers.
    6. Lean forward slightly and insert the nozzle into the nostril. Spray and breathe in gently through the nose at the same time.
    7. Repeat with the other nostril.
    8. Clean and dry the nozzle before replacing back the cap right after use.

    Warnings

    · Brief stinging sensation or sneezing may occur.
    · Excessive use may damage lining of the nose.
    · If congestion persists for more than 3 days, seek medical advice.
    · Frequent or prolonged use may cause nasal congestion to recur or worsen.
    · Contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative.

    Do not use this medicine:

    · If under 12 years.
    · If you are allergic to xylometazoline.
    · After recent operations through the nose or mouth.
    · If you have narrow angle glaucoma.
    · If you have inflammatory nasal dryness.
    · If irritation occurs, or if you have signs of allergy, discontinue use.
    · In or around the eyes.
    · If the package use-by date has expired.
    · Until you read the enclosed leaflet carefully.

    Ask a doctor before use if you:

    · Are pregnant or breastfeeding or trying to become pregnant.
    · Have any other medical conditions.
    · Are taking other medicines.
